In 2013 Russian startup LiveMap presented to the world “smart” helmet for motorcyclists with head up display . In comparison with the prototype 2013, the creators have not only moved the projector from a region above the head in the chin part, but also improved all the characteristics of the helmet, including the size of the optics, the angle and quality of the projected images. The angle of view in LiveMap at the moment is 20 degrees, while in Google Glass, the figure is only 12 degrees. A new prototype of LiveMap helmet developed by the international consortium of specialists from U.S., Japan and Russia under the leadership of Andrew Artishchev and today is the only product in the field of augmented and virtual reality on such a scale in Europe. A key objective of the LiveMap helmet is making it easier for motorcyclists and security on the road. With the more development they will not be distracted by the phone or other devices to navigate, as everything is displayed right in front of them, not blocking the review.
