Livemap launched NEW prototype smart motorcycle helmet with optic and electronic in chin part. Preorder Livemap helmet today with $500 discount and you will support the R&D phase of the Livemap team. https://livemap.info/order.html?perk=13 We developed next generation prototype with optic in the chin part (in 2013 year we presented prototype with design over head), optic is incredible better than our previous prototype and also based on modular helmet. If we compared it with another solution on the market based on Prisms or micro display its also better, by resolution, contrast, brightness. In 2013 Russian startup LiveMap presented to the world “smart” helmet for motorcyclists with head up display . It should be noted that the development of the Livemap had begun five years before the announcement, when nothing like it on the market was not, and the world did not know about Google Glass. All these years, the LiveMap team together with founder Andrew Artishchev worked on the improvement of the helmet and are now ready to present a new prototype, and next year will go on sale in a commercial version ready for use on urban roads. At the core of the LiveMap helmet is the technology of projecting images onto the protective glass. On assurances of developers, this solution has several advantages compared to prisms, as in Google Glass and in Skully helmet, and mini-displays, as in this case, the visibility in Sunny weather much better, and the user does not need to constantly turn his eyes from the road to the picture because the picture is projected directly on the center of the track. It is the projection technology used in military aviation helmets. The advantages of LiveMap is also attributed to the fact that the projected picture is fully colored and not monochromatic green, as in aviation helmets, and the decision today has no analogues in the world. Another unique feature of LiveMap is that the projector is in the chin part, not on top of the head, which required more sophisticated implementation and has no analogues in the world. In comparison with the prototype 2013, the creators have not only moved the projector from a region above the head in the chin part, but also improved all the characteristics of the helmet, including the size of the optics, the angle and quality of the projected images. The angle of view in LiveMap at the moment is 20 degrees, while in Google Glass, the figure is only 12 degrees. A new prototype of LiveMap helmet developed by the international consortium of specialists from U.S., Japan and Russia under the leadership of Andrew Artishchev and today is the only product in the field of augmented and virtual reality on such a scale in Europe. A key objective of the LiveMap helmet is making it easier for motorcyclists and security on the road. With the more development they will not be distracted by the phone or other devices to navigate, as everything is displayed right in front of them, not blocking the review. In addition, the helmet running the operating system Android, so suitable for use worldwide, allowing you to download maps of any country and region, to be aware of accidents, traffic jams and even weather conditions. At the moment we know that the field of view of the projected image will be 18х12 degrees. Helmet will run on ARM Cortex-A53 with support for LTE Advanced, and to record what is happening on the road to use the built-in camera that can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second or 1080p at a frequency of 60 frames per second. The final version of the helmet will be presented early next year at Consumer Electronics Show or Mobile World Congress, and the start of sales is scheduled for next summer.
