𝗪𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 Warwickshire Hunt - Grandborough - 24th September 2024 During a recent cub hunting meet in Grandborough the Warwickshire Hunt headed over to Fox Covert, owned by David Thomas. This is one of the hunts favorite woods to hunt in this area probably because you're guaranteed to see a fox fleeing the wood once the hounds are in there. Riders were positioned all around the wood in an attempt to stop the fox from escaping. However, footage from our drone shows the hounds leaving the wood and trespassing through the back garden of the house next to the wood. The hounds charged through the back garden past the house and onto the front drive before heading over and across the road. The owners of the house were not happy about the hounds rampaging across their garden and could be heard shouting at the hunt. Our drone footage clearly shows that trail hunting is a lie, nothing more than a useful false alibi to circumvent the poorly written Hunting Act. Why did the Warwickshire Hunt put hounds into a wood that we’ve filmed numerous foxes escaping from? Why did they position all of their riders around the wood and on all exit points from the wood? Why did their hounds trespass across a back garden and through the property of the house next to the wood? Clearly not trail hunting as they did not have permission to go on the property. The government has promised a full ban on hunting. The longer they leave it the more wildlife is going to get killed. It that simple.
