A running commentary of my singlehanded passage from Funchal, Madeira to Lanzarote in my 1977 Prout Snowgoose 35 catamaran. This was a relatively rough ride with seas on the beam or just aft of the beam meaning it wasn't possible to stand up without holding on, let alone hold a camera steady. If it makes you seasick, just consider that part of the experience 😉 I'd recently had crew from Sagress in Portugal, to Funchal. They left the evening before to catch a ferry to a different Island. I needed to head to Lanzarote.
