I wasn’t expecting the game to have combos like it did. With the unique visual style Mortal Sin has it takes place in a Dark Fantasy setting. The developer wants to create world of intrigue that is open to some interpretation like his inspirations, Dark Souls and even Berserk, which makes sense. However he has also stated his gameplay inspirations are Diablo, Path of Exile, Ninja Gaiden Black, Super Smash Bros. Melee, World of Warcraft, Resident Evil 4. Not a single one was Vermintide 2 by the way. This indie game is awesome and if you are interested in hack n’ slash, rogue-likes, or think the visual style is cool play Mortal Sin.
