The 914 represents the year of the 1914 antarctic epxedition of the SS Endurance and the crews toughness and not giving up spirit as they were stuck in ice with the ship eventually sinking. Despite all odds, they managed to survive and after years of being left for dead, returned home. their Captains family moto "THROUGH ENDURANCE WE CONQUER. TOGETHER, WE MAKE PROGRESS." is engraved on the caseback. Sized at 39mm in diamater and just 11mm thick, it makes for a wonderful everyday wear watch that will fit almost every size wrist. The watch is powered by a regulated Sellita SW200 and the watch comes with a lifetime warranty IF you send the watch in for service every 5 years, something we don't see often!
