Chuuk 2025 - Hoki Maru

Diving the wreck of the Hoki Maru in Chuuk Lagoon. She lies in about 51m (165 ft) of water with the top at 30m (100ft). The bottom holds fuel barrels with some empty barrels floated up to the top and now fused to the ship by marine growth. The main holds contain construction equipment, mesh fencing, a number of trucks, a tractor, a bulldozer, and a couple of generators. Pretty twin props at the stern. The engine room is accessible, unfortunately we were the last team in, so it was quite silty, but lots of boilers and machinery to see.
