I walked out and saw the rear wheel of my 2004 Honda VTX 1300s was flat, after checking the tire for nails or screws I found the air was leaking around the valve stem. I ordered a new tube and took it down to the "Honda Shop" for install, I figured since the wheel was off and the bike has over 30K on it that this would be a good time to install new wheel bearings. The bearings I had ordered myself were actually the wrong ones so Honda put their new bearings on for me. The Tech told me it was a good thing too since the old bearings were missing some of the ball bearings. In order to save a couple hundred bucks I removed the wheel myself, serviced the differential splines, and reinstalled the wheel. It's the first time I ever worked with the rear wheel but in all actuality, it was a piece of cake. I just wanted to share this video with the VTX1300 community to let you all know it not something you have to shy away from, heck, if I can do it, anyone can. Tube: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JDPQOFS?... (this is the correct tube, the picture shows the wrong valve stem) Spline Lube: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085D8KFVC?... Please Note: These videos are not a "how to" rather, what I have done to my vehicles and are posted for entertainment only, I assume no responsibility for those who work on their vehicles after viewing my videos. Always refer to your Owner's Manual for proper procedures and torque values. Thanks for watching.
