An aerial video filmed while flying my camera drone in the vicinity of the National Gypsum Marine Terminal Facility, also referred to as the National Gypsum Wharf, which is location at 200 Wrights Cove Road, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Here raw gypsum, transported by train, is transferred from a gypsum storage pile into bulk carrier ships. The video includes lovely views of the surrounding area with autumn colours, Bedford Basin, Halifax Harbour and bridges in the distance, as well as views of the Wrights Cove with the Dartmouth Yacht Club marina and an abandoned ship. The bulk carrier, "Thunder Bay" was docked at the wharf. This ship is operated by Canadian Steamship Lines. More information on this ship can be found at https://www.cslships.com/en/canada-st... The National Gypsum Marine Terminal Facility is owned and operated by National Gypsum (Canada) Ltd. This facility provides a rail to ship interface for raw gypsum exports from National Gypsum’s open pit mine in Milford Station. For more information see https://princestreet.wordpress.com/20... Filmed with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro on the morning of October 3, 2020 while wearing my Epson Moverio BT-300 FPV glasses. Edited with CyberLink PowerDirector 18. Music: ""Go on Blues" by Bo the Drifter, available from EpidemicSound.com EpidemicSound.com has lots of great music. If you are so inclined, I would be grateful if you purchased your EpidmicSound.com subscription through this link https://www.epidemicsound.com/referra... as this would add a free month to my EpidemicSound.com subscription and give you one month free also. Thank you. Many people ask about the sound in the title clip of my video. It is the call of the Common Loon (or Great Northern Diver), a bird that inhabits our lakes and I sometimes hear and see flying over our home.
