Today we explored Los Angeles, California, specifically the Valley areas of Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys 🇺🇸🌴 Trying to live on a European budget in LA, I searched for the best cheap latte and compared grocery prices at some of the most popular stores in the San Fernando Valley. ☕ Coffee Recap I bought a latte for $4 at Whole Foods — and honestly, I think it’s better than Starbucks 👀 Great taste, solid price, and a much better value for LA standards. ⛽ Costco Gas + Membership Story We also stopped at Costco for gas (cheap prices!) and groceries. I have a Gold Member card, and we found out that Executive Members can enter one hour earlier than Gold Members — interesting perk if you shop often. Costco is where I buy most of my food. Trader Joe’s is mainly for steaks and some specialty items.
