He imbued the second half of the 20th century with his sensitivity and audacity and continues to inspire new generations of artists: Yves Klein, born in 1928 in Nice, had however for first vocation to be a judoka. In 1954, he turned definitively towards art and began his "Monochrome Adventure". From his famous blue and monochromes, to the use of gold and pink, to the use of sponges soaked in pure colours and fire as a brush, he never stops reinventing art.
