Grayscale colouring tips and process

What is grayscale colouring all about? If you're interested in grayscale colouring but don't really know how to get started, here's a video I made from when I coloured in this sample for my newest book - Gothic Grayscale Edition - where you can see how I coloured over this grayscale image. I'm not as experienced a colourist as many of you who colour in my colouring books are. I'm more used to painting than using coloured pencils or markers. But I thought I'd share some of my thoughts and processes of how I coloured in this sample here. I hope it's helpful or interesting to you!
