MP Tamara Jansen joined me to discuss her very important bill (C-218) to stop the expansion of assisted death for Canadians who are struggling mentally. The legalization of MAiD for the mentally vulnerable has already been passed and is set to take effect in March of 2027, unless another bill, such as MP Jansen's, is passed to reverse it. This is where we are at right now. MP Jansen's bill needs to pass. Because it is an opposition private member's bill, our leaders need to be encouraged to prioritize this.
