ABRSM Stage - Harris Federation

ABRSM Stage is an online performance series led by our Artistic Director, Alexis Ffrench, that showcases musicians and musical artistry from around the world. It is part of our commitment to championing a life-long love for music, celebrating the rich diversity that music brings to our lives. ABRSM Stage invites our audiences to share in the sounds of up-and-coming artists, while giving us the opportunity to share with our audiences the music of more established acts. The Harris Federation is an education charity led and run by teachers. We opened our first academy in 1991 and now run 54 primary and secondary academies in London and Essex. With the majority of our academies deliberately located in areas of high socioeconomic disadvantage, a high quality education is key to the futures of the pupils we serve. We are heavily invested in Creative and Performing Arts at Harris Federation and our ABRSM Stage submission showcases a snapshot of the diversity within the extensive range of musical opportunities we offer. There isn't just one type of ensemble, soloist, genre/style focus or way to 'do' Music at Harris. We go above and beyond to make sure students are given every opportunity to find and nurture their unique musical talents and interests.
