Anyone who can bake bread wins my point! Little did anyone know, I was obsessed with Sophia's Serbian bread, Česnica, that I actually took extra home with me. Perhaps it is the taste of freshly made bread or simply that Sophia used the magic in her Grandma's recipe, which got me hooked to them. Fun fact! Sophia's conversation with Jill during our break time from filming Come Dine with Me gave me the idea to start this series. As an acting lecturer, Sophia shared her thoughts on social media and how it impacts young adults' lives. I resonate with everything she was sharing because social media plays a vital role in my life, and at the same time, my siblings are still finding ways to safeguard their children in this modern time. To Sophia, thank you for giving me the spark I needed to start this series. For context: Come Dine with Me is a show where 5 contestants take turns to host dinner parties for a week with different themes. Each evening, the host will serve a 3-course meal plus entertainment/activities for the guests. The guests will then score the host out of 10 points at the end of the evening. The points will be revealed on the final day, and the winner will receive a cash total of £1,000.
