Recently I came across a lot of videos confirming the presence of strong gender inequalities within couples, particularly regarding household management and childcare. The fact that people create this type of content and upload it online demonstrate the normalization of this inequality and allow us to analyze in depth the dynamics shown, introducing at the same time new topics of discussion. This video is divided in 4 chapters: ⁃ The first one involves a very upsetting trend masked as a “joke” regarding household chores; ⁃ In the second chapter we are going to talk about the relationship between men and household management; questioning how this responsibility is divided within the couple; ⁃ In the third chapter we are going to analyze the relationship between men and childcare, and the fine line that separates a man who wants children from a man who wants to be a father; ⁃ Finally, we will draw conclusions about the roles and responsibilities of men and women in both engaging in and allowing these behaviors.
