Trespassing inside any of the former Harrisburg State Hospital buildings is illegal. Trespassers will be prosecuted with criminal trespassing, a 2nd Degree Felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. It does not matter if you find an open door or window, going inside the buildings without permission from the PA DGS is illegal, and you will get caught.
