WOW! What an awesome day this turned out to be! Welcome back to our channel! Near Morbach, Germany, this is a castle ruins with a lot of history. It was built by the Archbishop of Trier, Germany- Prince Balduin. Then, during the Thirty Years War it was besieged and destroyed, then later rebuilt only to be destroyed again by Napoleon's army... This is the ONLY moated castle in the Hunsruck region of Germany and it is also the HIGHEST in elevation anywhere in Germany. (I lied to Franci about alligators swimming in the moat... lol) So, this Festival has a bow shooting contest, some really fun live shows including music from both Spilldeyvel out of Trier and Duo Sinivum Musica; juggling, jokes, and acrobatics by both Kasper der Gaukler and Aaron von der Rolle; to topped off after dark with a cool fire show put on by Fire and Friends!
