How to Manually Install Sims 4 Packs (Linux and Steam)

A tutorial for how to install EA DLC Unlocker, and install and update your sims 4 packs on Linux. I am using the distro Kubuntu. I tried my best to talk a little less this time. Anyway, here are the steps on how to manually install the packs in case a 9 minute video is still too long for you: 1. Download EA DLC Unlocker and the sims 4 packs zip 2. Run the setup file by right clicking on it (setup_linux.sh or setup.bat if youre on windows) 3. Follow the instructions on the script (2 to add game, then 1 to install the unlocker) 4. Extract the sims 4 packs zip and copy the contents of the folder into your game directory (go to game on steam, click the gear icon for setting, manage, and browse local files and itll take you exactly where you need to be) 4.1 IMPORTANT.
