Let's see a case of moderate-grade cataract dealt with horizontal chop using a ball chopper. Though it gets bit of a blind procedure momentarily when ball chopper hugs the equator of the nucleus, but once you get the orientation of where what is happening you can enjoy this technique which is so underrated compared to vertical chop. Noting against vertical chop but personally, I feel one should try exploring newer techniques so as to broaden your armamentarium, in the quest for the same I do phaco cortex aspiration.
