We’re in the final stretch of packing up our life here in Northern Ireland so we can move back home to New Zealand. Over the past few weeks it’s been a lot of real life admin behind the scenes: • Selling the car • Renting cars to get ourselves to the airport • Packing up the Airbnb • Selling what we can • Donating the rest • Getting paperwork in place so Biscuit and Snowball can fly Every step depends on the next one, especially when it comes to getting the cats through MPI approval and into quarantine so they can travel safely. In this update we’re sharing where we’re at right now, what still needs to be done before we leave, and what the plan is once we land in NZ. The goal is to buy land in the South Island and start building a sustainable, independent life for our family. A little community for our family, food growing, and setting things up so we can live simply and long term without relying on rent or constant travel. This is what the move home actually looks like. Boxes, paperwork, flights, cats and kids, and a lot of loose ends to tie up before the next chapter begins.
