Shot in Toronto, Canada, the video depicts a story of hopelessness and how miracles can occur in the middle of unprecedented circumstances. The 88everything-directed video does an astute job of bringing the themes of the song to life and amplifying TÖME's message of positivity to life. TÖME and a few friends find themselves stranded as their car breaks down whilst on a road trip. After futile attempts to securing help from passers by, the singer and her group stumble on a garage full of functional vehicles to save them from the nightmare. Oscillating between multiple point-of-views and storylines, TÖME's video for "I Pray" ends on positive foot as the afro-fusionist and her friends experience a creative breakthrough that brings their story full circle.
