Hierbei treten zwei Reiter gegeneinander an und versuchen den gegnerischen Reiter vom Pferd zu ziehen. Diese Disziplin erfordert sehr viel Geschicklichkeit, da man das Pferd kontrollieren muss, den gegnerischen Reiter attackieren muss und gleichzeitig nicht aus dem Sattel fallen darf. Mehrere Teams treten an, wobei die meisten Zweikämpfe unentschieden enden oder mit einem Punktsieg (Schiedsrichterentscheidung) enden. Lediglich im letzten Zweikampf gelingt es einem Reiter den Anderen aus dem Sattel zu ziehen. Es wird hart gekämpft, der Siegeswille ist allen anzumerken. Ab und zu mischt sich auch ein Pferd in den Kampf ein und schlägt nach hinten aus.
