A mid-afternoon fire has left a wall and board structure and a vehicle destroyed in the community of Mardi Gras, St. George. The blaze, which occurred earlier today, completely gutted the wall-and-board building before spreading to a nearby vehicle. Thick smoke was seen billowing into the air as firefighters rushed to the scene. Emergency crews worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.
