In this week’s episode, co-hosts Casey and Shanyn break down how teams across the country are mentally, strategically, and creatively approaching 2026 UDA College Nationals. We spoke with 16 different college dance teams across divisions and categories to get a pulse on the season—asking about their mottos, goals, and how they’re approaching their routines this year. While we’re not spoiling songs or themes, we’re sharing what listeners should be watching for as Nationals weekend approaches. We also have a little fun making a few lighthearted predictions—based on recent Instagram profile picture changes—about what some teams might be hinting at. No insider info here, just educated guesses and observations 👀 In addition, we circle back to last week’s episode, Breaking Down the UDA Rulebook, to further break down scoring and judging after hearing from our UDA correspondent, Katie Figueiredo. Her insights helped clarify how teams may be prioritizing certain elements this season.
