After spending several days in Iloilo doing heritage tours and enjoying Dinagyang Festival, I decided to travel to Boracay by bus from Iloilo. Taking the bus in the province is a totally different experience compared to going by bus around Luzon. Buses doing the Iloilo-Caticlan route really leave on time, automatically give senior discounts, make short stop-overs, with affordable local meals at stops, and free use of rest rooms. This made my 6-hour trip from Iloilo to Caticlan much comfortable and enjoyable, and made we ready to enjoy the white sands of Boracay.
