Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Heist Battleground: Europa on Arc Warlock - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Wish-ender - Fallen Sunstar - Platinum Rank - Arc Warlock - Season of the Witch - Destiny 2 Lightfall. Arc Surge is back and I have not used Arc Warlock in a while so this time around I am using Arc Warlock with Fallen Sunstar to get as much ability energy as possible. It is mostly important during the boss fight as you have to hold the fortress there while fighting wave after wave of enemies. This Battleground is more like a "traditional" Nightfall as it does not have infinitely spawning enemies Protect Ghost section like in the other BGs. And that is a good thing. On the other hand, this BG is just way too long, and it gets boring very quickly! Also, it is very long range heavy so I am not necessarily sure what could be used instead of Wish-ender without significantly extending a clear time. My clear goal with off-meta runs is to still keep it not much longer compared to meta runs, and this GM really makes me wonder. Any ideas? Other weapons I have are an Arc LMG (Song of Ir Yut) to match activity Arc Surge and quickly mow down enemies in the Boss room, and a Scout Rifle with Shoot to Loot that I use solely to stun Unstoppable Champions and collect ammo and orbs.
