Diving with Common Skate, North East Dive

A pair of Common, Flapper Skate we encountered during a dive in Kinlochbervie. I spotted her as I descended down the wall to the sea bed at 30m. We were then joined by the Male Skate. It was our 6th visit to Kinlochbervie, this time for a weeks diving, were we enjoyed 25-30m visibility and the usual amazing dives. We also spotted a single Skate on the last dive of the week. In May we encountered a female during a dive on Handa Island. We are now based in Kinlochbervie with our hardboat, Keltic Lady.
