I reviewed them in temperatures ranging from 10 degrees with zero-degree wind chills up to around 30 degrees. I learned a lot about how this late-season cold weather hunting gear worked in extreme cold, how it handled hiking to my hunting spots, how I was able to climb trees and hunt from the saddle wearing it, and how it held up to busting through thick brush and jaggers in the mountains of north-central Pennsylvania. I tested the new Asio Gear Late Season 2.0 jacket's improved fleece topper and its quietness. I tested the jacket and the Asio Gear Late Season Bibs (which I really like) against wind and wind chill, rain and light snow, and how they performed on short and long-distance hunts. I ran the gambit on testing even though we didn't have extreme cold weather in the northeast until late January. What I really tested was Asio's claim that their gear is bow hunting gear for bow hunters. I tested a lot of hunting clothing and have tested a lot of Asio's early and midseason hunting clothes.
