They could not believe that suddenly the earth moved under their paws and they had new-found magic powers to shift and shred the once solid lawn. I can't blame them for turning the soft and bouncy new turf into their playground. Little do they know that it cost me a small fortune to get done. But ultimately I laid it for them as much as for myself. having to replace some small sections of shredded turf is a small price to pay for the fun they continue to have playing every night into the small hours in my garden.
