Mckay Wrigley is the Founder and CEO of LearnFromAnyone, a service being incubated that aims to leverage OpenAI’s GPT-3 API to build an AI teacher that is an expert in any topic and can assume any personality and voice too. Mckay joins us on the show today to speak about learning code, build-ing a brand in today’s social media landscape, and working on a platform that leverages one of the most exciting and contentious areas of tech – AI. Mckay tells us about how he quit law school and enrolled in a coding bootcamp while sharing his learning process on twitter, which landed him a job at Hivewire as a full stack developer after only six months. At Hivewire he was able to upskill at a rapid pace and when he heard the rumors of GPT-3’s imminent release, he signed up for an API key and thanks to his Twitter account, was promptly selected.
