*EARLY VIDEO* Heavy fire conditions face Mendon, Ma firefighters

Around 1:30am, firefighters were dispatched to this Wood Dr home for a report of a fire in the attached garage. While enroute, dispatchers were being told of explosions and the fire was extending into the house. Upon arrival, the garage was fully involved extending inside the house and a 2nd alarm was immediately called. The first company used a blitz gun to knock down the heavy overlapping fire. The house is in a no hydrant district so tankers had to be called to supply water to the scene. It took about 40 minutes to bring the fire under control. The fire did not enter the main house. Firefighters stopped it in the bedrooms above the garage. All occupants escaped the home safely. Departments from Millville, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Sutton, Upton, Hopedale, Milford, Bellingham and Medway assisted Mendon firefighters.
