COSTAL WALKS ,WHITBY TO ROBIN HOODS BAY VIA THE CINDER TRACK

On Sunday 02/02/25 we went for a small treck from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire via the cinder track . Distance to the Bay was just over 3 miles ,I would advise taking something to eat and drink as there's no shops en route ,and check the weather before setting off and dress accordingly . this route is a good beginners route also used by dog walkers ,mountain bikers as its part of national cycle route 1. stunning views of Yorkshire rolling country side and the cliffs carved out from the sea . once we got to the Bay at the top of the hill there's a chippy ,so we went in for fish and chips absolutely visit this one the food is tip top .we made our way down the hill to the bay had an explore then it was time to climb back up the steep hill and make our way back to start . total milage done around 9 ish miles we both found it very comfortable to walk .hope you enjoy .
