Former Energy Minister Peter Amewu has thrown his full weight behind Kennedy Agyapong, describing him as the best figure to rebuild the NPP and transform Ghana. Amewu argues that despite the party’s loss in the 2024 elections, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo demonstrated strong governance and leadership, lessons the party must now build on. According to him, the 2028 elections will be anything but normal, as the appetite among the grassroots and the wider electorate clearly favours Kennedy Agyapong.
