This is an overview and test of my 3D Printed Micro RC Monster Truck. I have always wanted an RC solid axle monster truck and a 3D printed RC truck. This checks both of those boxes. It was originally going to use parts from a WLtoys P929 but they were too small. They will be used on a 1/32 build with a Spin Master Monster Jam body. Temporarily, I am using ECX Barrage 1/24 parts. I plan on upgrading the drive train with parts from a 1/18 scale 4WD buggy so that it has open differentials. This chassis should be large enough to use axles from a 1/18 scale RC crawler as well. The stock ECX Barrage motor is not powerful enough, even on 2s. I plan on upgrading to a 180 brushed motor. I think a 1/18 brushless combo would be too powerful. The tires are from a 1/25 scale model truck kit from AMT. I designed the rims and 3D printed them. They are sized to work with Barrage axles but should also work with any axles that use a 7mm hex. Everything was printed in PLA. I am going to make another using PETG. However, I have not broken any of the 3D printed rc parts yet. When I originally printed the body it was .8mm thick. That was just too thin. It is now 1.2mm thick. Link to the .STL files: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2005...
