In this Leather Care 101 video, Eagle Leather's production mananger Hanna talks you through the ins and outs of leather care: how to keep it beautiful, how to store leather clothing, what to do if your leather gets wet or mouldy, and cleaning your leather gear - from an on-the-go spot clean, to a full in depth leather clean. She'll also work through complex cleaning like leather harnesses, leather shirts, and cleaning leather with a lining, like leather jackets, as well as giving you a run down of our favourite leather care products. Hanna's trademark sassy attitude shines through in this one, so you can be sure she'll give you a solid talking to if you're not looking after your gear properly! By the end of this video you'll know exactly how to look after your leathers so you can get a lifetime of joy out of them. Hanna will also teach you how to spot good vs. cheap or fake leather - and the answer is not what you might think! Hanna joined us in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fashion Design (with Honours) under her belt from RMIT, where she specialised in leatherwork, tailoring, lingerie, corsetry, illustration, drape and millinery, so she's got a solid decade or more of experience in the field. Before joining the team, Hanna had already been excelling in the retail scene for several years whilst developing her own brand of vampish bags and accessories under her eponymous label, Tusler Leather.
