Most athletes get stuck in the copying phase. They recognize what good players do, they try to use those patterns, but they never create anything new. This video breaks down the three-phase framework I learned from an Alex Hormozi and Tony Robbins interview: Pattern Recognition, Pattern Usage, and Pattern Creation. Pattern Recognition is where you start. You're watching film, studying the best players, absorbing as much information as possible. This is base building - understanding what works and why. Pattern Usage is where most athletes spend their entire careers. You take what you've recognized and apply it to your own game. You're using the patterns that work, but you're not creating anything new. Pattern Creation is where industry leaders operate. This is Pep Guardiola bringing Barcelona's style to the Premier League. This is when I created the one-month boot review format that no one else was doing. You're not just copying, you're innovating. The progression from recognition to usage to creation is what separates good players from legends, and good content creators from industry leaders. In this video, I break down all three phases, show you where you probably are right now, and explain how to move to the next level. Your sport will end. Your identity doesn't have to. Most athletes struggle with transition moments because they've built their entire identity around what they do. We focus on the mental performance and identity separation work that allows you to move through transitions without losing yourself. Personal branding is the byproduct of this deeper work. On this channel, you'll find: → The major transition moments every athlete faces (and how to navigate them) → Identity separation: who you are vs. what you do → Mental performance frameworks (PRIME, TEMPO, CORE) → Real athlete case studies and conversations → Systems for building influence beyond your sport Whether you're still competing, transitioning out, or years removed, this channel gives you the frameworks to build a life of purpose after sport. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔥 Join the FREE Brace Community: skool.com/brace 📩 Weekly newsletter: www.noahcavanaugh.com/newsletter ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📱 CONNECT WITH BRACE: → Instagram: @BraceAthletes → LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/noah-cavanaugh → Website: https://noahcavanaugh.com 🎬 For behind-the-scenes, triathlon training, and the raw journey: @NoahCavanaugh ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ About Noah Cavanaugh: Former professional footballer and sports psychology graduate who has navigated every major athletic transition.
