We spend our last days in Mindelo before we cross the Atlantic ocean to Suriname. In these last days Vincent goes on a hike on the islandSanto Antão with the crew of sailing Eva. Then we go to the market to buy the last fresh produce which makes our boat ready to cross. it will take about 2 to 2,5 weeks on the ocean before we see land again. Before we leave we say goodbye to friends and all we have met the last week. Especially Harley mades new friends for life. We also take you through our sail setup, and thgen itś time to leave Mindelo! We show you how a day at the ocean looks like for us, and that means; "Back to basic" We catch our own food and shower every 3 to 4 days with our bum sliding from starboard to port because of the showergel. Every daily task demands more effort on a moving boat. We found our passage not easy, but thatś allways difficult to capture as filming in those conditions is the last thing you want and/or think about.
