Hello fellow displayers this is the technical video of my 110V motorized turntable. I started off with a 18" Acacia wood turntable (all parts listed below) I chucked the original crap bearing & bought a Rockler 17.4 OD bearing & cleaned out all the heavy viscous grease and went with white lubriplate grease (worked much better) to light of oil & you'll hear the bearings clatter against themselves. I made a stud for the collar to sit on & soldered a half moon piece of brass inside to connect with the motor post. i used a stdp switch to be able to reverse the motor. the motor obviously is a reversable 1 rpm 110V motor. when mounting the bearing onto the lazy Susan wood it is imperative to have it evenly centered in the wood disc, along with the center mount support, otherwise you'll have a turntable trying to run untrue & that will be hard on the motor , bearing & will look bad in operation. i did isolate the motor with 0 rings between the screws ,motor base & wood.
