On this final Sunday of 2025, Midtown pauses to breathe and remember that each of us has a role to play in God’s Kingdom as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Through three testimonial interviews with members of our community, Clint invites us to see that our connections—on Sunday mornings and throughout the week—are not the destination, but a kind of waystation: a place to be filled, refreshed, and rehydrated, so that we can return to the world carrying the light and life of Jesus wherever we go. Chapters Chapter 1: The Way Station and the Mountain 0:00 - 5:00 The church is like a way station on a mountain journey—a place to get hydrated and oriented before returning to the adventure of following Jesus in daily life. Chapter 2: Bridget's Story: Finding Jesus in Medical Residency 5:00 - 15:00 A medical resident shares how Jesus has shown up through community during lonely transitions and in the tension of caring for terminally ill patients. Chapter 3: Andy's Story: Transitioning to Senior Leadership and Adult Parenting 15:00 - 25:00 A trauma surgeon reflects on transitioning from being the young guy to the mentor, and learning to step back as his children become adults. Chapter 4: Brittany's Story: Finding God in Overstimulation and Dignity 25:00 - 35:00 A behavior technician working with children on the autism spectrum discovers Christ in both breakthrough moments and chaotic, overstimulating situations. Chapter 5: Invitation to Remembrance and Reflection 35:00 - 40:00 We are encouraged to practice remembrance by reflecting on how Christ has worked in our lives and where He might be inviting us in the year ahead.
