*********Video********* In this video I explain the difference between LED bulbs and traditional incandescent bulbs, and how the superior design of the LED bulb helps save money, and reduces your overall carbon footprint. I explain that Incandescent bulbs work by super heating filament to the point of glowing. This design makes Incandescent bulbs use abundantly more energy, and burn out very quickly. I compare that to the design of the LED which produces light using Electroluminescence, which means it stays cooler, uses less energy, (Which requires less money) and lasts 23,800 hours longer than the traditional Incandescent bulb. To finish this video, I outline some strategies to switch to LEDs in your home if you can’t feasibly switch all at once. These strategies include switching one room a month, switching 5 bulbs at a time, or simply replacing as you go.
