Hello and welcome to the demonstration of multicams in AVA360VR. As a researcher using audiovisual material, you may collect data in various settings using different cameras to capture the data. At Bigsoft video team, we have experimented with collecting data using multiple cameras over the years, and this LEGO Demo Project is one such event. In this scene, we have many different cameras, including 360 cameras, 2D cameras, and more. We are standing in a 360 camera in the middle of the scene, which gives us an overview of the entire scene. We can jump between different cameras to obtain the perspective most suited for our analysis in the current position. Traditional audiovisual editors require stitching the video together into a composite video that freezes the scene. In AVA360 VR, we prioritize bringing in different video and audio resources in a flexible and sophisticated manner. In this demonstration, we will show you how to bring in different resources so that you can take up the most relevant position for your analysis. The runner from this group runs behind the boards to see how to build a Lego figure, and then she returns to instruct her group members on how to build it. Some of the information or action is hidden from us if we cannot obtain the perspective from behind these boards. We have animated new mini spheres into the video that allow us to jump directly into relevant positions. We have also included other videos inside this 360 video, and they play together in sync. With AVA360 VR, you can import and work with your videos in a flexible manner. You can animate the different videos to pop up in certain places and even add animations that follow along in your field of view. By doing this, you are able to obtain the most relevant position for your analysis. We could jump between all the 360 cameras in this space to see what is going on in specific moments in time.
