On January 16, 2025 the federal government released a notice of proposed rulemaking to support limiting the nicotine yield in combustible cigarettes to less than addictive levels. The FDA has developed this rule over several years, and its release shows progress in reducing the harms of cigarettes. Smoking is one of the leading causes of preventable death in the United States and this rule, should it be implemented, will make a significant effort to save lives and prevent people from smoking. Join us in this 45-minute webinar to learn more about the rule and how to submit a comment to the FDA during the open comment period.
