For the longest time I thought it would be impossible for my route to beat the any% record of 3:45:35, considering I play on a higher difficulty setting which requires a large time investment into experience grinding. But as of last night I was able to claim that spot. Huge thanks to everyone that helped me optimize the run to this point, especially Dagroth, Syltris and Ekans, who all gave great advice and made suggestions that helped me cut huge amounts of time from the run. Almost immediately after the run was finished we found yet another skip that cuts a minimum of 10 minutes from the run, so I expect to get the sub 3:30 quite soon.
