"Gentleman" James Hogg and his trusty butler Banks take a drive to a country manor, where James fancies trying his hand at the rarefied game of croquet - he certainly looks the part - but alas, he doesn't actually know how to play. Not to worry, he's joined by Richard Rothwell, the secretary of the Croquet Association, ladies' croquet champion Veronica Carlisle, and current croquet world champion Nigel Aspinall, they should be able to keep him right.
