Dealing with stress and depression during a PhD could be quite challenging and pretty much all of the students unfortunately go through it during their degree. In this video I talk about some ways to manage stress during a PhD based on my personal experience. Please note however that if things are really getting out of control for you, then do seek specialist advice. Specifically, I discuss the following seven points that are aimed for PhD students in particular, but could also apply to a wider general audience of students doing graduate studies (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc). 1. Do regular exercise 2. Plan your PhD properly 3. Self counselling 4. Seek support from your supervisor 5. Seek support from university counsellors 6. Take a break, do things you love 7. Just give your best, don’t worry about results Please hit the SUBSCRIBE button to get notified of a range of interesting upcoming relevant videos and also LIKE and SHARE this video. ** MORE RELATED VIDEOS ** Things you must know before starting a PhD - • Things you must know before starting a PhD... 4 mistakes PhD students must not make - • 4 mistakes PhD students must not make | Dr... 6 key considerations when choosing a PhD supervisor - • 6 key considerations when choosing a PhD s...
