Jassa Singh Ahluwalia (ਜੱਸਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ) was prominent leader of Sikh confederacy. He was Supreme Leader of Dal Khalsa and was awarded with title of Sultan-ul-Qaum. Jassa Singh Ahluwalia played important role in winning Red Fort. The day Red Fort won by Baba Baghel Singh, Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and Jassa Singh Ramgarhia celebrated as Fateh Diwas. After third battle of Panipat, Ahmad Shah Abdali captured many Hindu women and taking them to Afganistan. At that time, Jassa Singh Ahluwalia attacked on Abdali army and rescued 2200 women. He was born 3 may 1718 in village Ahlo near Lahore.After death of his father he came to Delhi with his mother. Their he received teachings from Mata Sundri Ji. After that he came back to Punjab. One day he met to Nawab Kapur Singh. Kapur Singh was very impressed by his kirtan and requested to keep him under his guidance. After Kapur Singh, Jassa Singh was chosen as Nawab. He became the leader of 11 Sikh Misls. He fought many fights with Ahmad Shah Abdali.
