Today, my patient is graciously sharing how she felt the night of her surgery, and how she feels this morning. ⚠️Warning - This is a completely transparent look at the morning after a Deep Necklift in a young ( under 40) individual. Notice she has no bruising and no dressing - this is totally normal, and how 99% of my isolated deep necklifts (without facelift) look the morning after surgery! Then, I show you EVERYTHING, including her incision line and drains, and discuss how we manage the drains while they are in place. Some people don’t want to know details or see incision lines, etc. Others find it empowering! If the patient has jowls or significantly loose neck skin (usually ages 40+), I incorporate a deep plane facelift so the jowls are lifted and the loose skin is removed around the ears.
