Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce the notion of unipotent homotopy group schemes and discuss its relation to Artin--Mazur formal groups. I will also explain why derived equivalent Calabi--Yau varieties over fields of characteristic p have isomorphic unipotent homotopy group schemes.
