A solemn dignified transfer was conducted by a U.S. Army carry team at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, honoring U.S. Army Pvt. Christian Bacchus on Jan. 21, 2026. Pvt. Bacchus, originally from Washington, D.C., was received with full military honors as he returned home. Pvt. Bacchus was assigned to Company D, 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, stationed at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany.
