Olpympian: Union Pacific's Salt Lake 2002 SD70M

Filmed 9/22/13 That was quick... two Olympic Units up, two Olympic Units bagged. Well, I didn't expect to get this one so soon. But, both Olympic units were in the KC area and this one, after having been over at Armourdale Yard (former Southern Pacific yard, now used for mostly UP's intermodal trains) was moved over to Neff for display during their Family Days event this past weekend. Near the end of the video they are preparing the consist for a train heading south. It was supposed to have left yesterday (the 22nd) but has been sitting on the Coffeyville Sub at Leeds in KC, MO for almost a day now. Last I heard from 844Train, it was still sitting there at 10:45am this morning. I was out at Leeds yesterday evening hoping to get it running by, but that never happened. I was actually there trying to get UP #8444, but it was halted about 5 miles south due to the crew going dead. So, I didn't get it there either. But I got 3 other trains which I'll post soon. So if anyone is on UP's Coffeyville Sub from KC down to North Little Rock, keep your eyes open, you may get to see an Olympic unit soon. Also, I have a club video coming, and it's going to be something a bit different too. I was busy Saturday...
